Stoneleigh donates half a million dollars to biodiversity projects across New Zealand

CVNZ is delighted to have partnered with New Zealand wine brand, Stoneleigh on a new campaign which allows the public to choose where to donate NZ$500,000.

Having committed over several years to many of their own key biodiversity projects at their own vineyard, Stoneleigh is taking their sights nationwide this year with their new ‘Nature This One’s On Us’ campaign. This campaign which will support diversity projects across the country with a substantial donation of NZ$500,000 split between three chosen charities. Stoneleigh is reaching out to the public to help decide where to allocate the funds and Conservation Volunteers New Zealand is lucky enough to be one of the chosen charities alongside The Marlborough Falcon Conservation Trust, and The Native Forest Restoration Trust.

The public can scan the QR code on each bottle of Stoneleigh or simply visit the website (no purchase required). You then get a ‘Stoneleigh Coin’ to use to allocate a portion of the funds towards your charity of choice. Each ‘Stoneleigh Coin’ is counted as a vote and the charities will receive a monetary donation based on the percentage of coins per charity.

Conservation Volunteers New Zealand will use these funds on the Papakura Stream Restoration Project to bring people together to plant and care for native trees, eradicate pests and weeds, protect threatened species, restore waterways and help make natural spaces accessible to everyone.

The Stoneleigh Does Good Campaign will run from 1st May 2022 to 31st December 2022. You can find out more information about the campaign and place your vote at
