HSBC at the Panmure Basin

HSBC and CVNZ partner on community projects

Conservation Volunteers New Zealand (CVNZ) are very excited to announce a new Corporate Partnership with HSBC New Zealand. Generous sponsorship from HSBC will allow us to expand on our environmental programmes and volunteer engagement to together make important social and environmental contributions to our communities.

HSBC has a strong commitment to sustainability and this year has encouraged their employees to participate in our community projects on multiple sites across Auckland. Staff have rolled up their sleeves and joined us to plant thousands of native trees at Atiu Creek Regional Park, helped in the propagation of plants at Cornwall Park nursery, participated in weed control and water testing at Tahuna Torea Reserve and removed rubbish to protect the waterways along the Tamaki Estuary.

Ongoing support from HSBC will see continued boots on the ground from HSBC staff as well as support to develop more programmes across Auckland and Wellington that will engage volunteers in the protection of waterways and habitat. We are extremely grateful to HSBC for their support and look forward to a long and successful partnership.
