Conservation Volunteers is excited to offer you the opportunity to participate in our World Environment Day Corporate Tree Planting Challenge on Friday 31st May!
We have identified locations in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch as well as across Australia that need some extra restoration care. Teams will have two hours to plant as many trees as they can, competing against each other to see who will be crowned the tree-planting champions. This is not only a great opportunity to participate in conservation efforts, but a fantastic team building activity!
Last year we had 11 teams compete to plant the highest number of trees in two hours time. At the end of the day, there was a grand total of 3,921 trees planted across New Zealand. We hope to break this record this year with an even bigger turnout!
You can enter as many teams as you like, so round up a group of workmates, reach out to other divisions in your workplace, challenge interstate branches, and extend the invitation to your clients and customers! More teams participating means more trees being planted, so encourage those around you to get involved!
The end of the day will be celebrated with a complimentary BBQ lunch and a scenic nature walk.
